Heights' onslaught ends season for Twinsburg ice hockey squad

It was a sudden burst that the Twinsburg High ice hockey team could not survive. Seven goals in the second period helped vault Cleveland Heights 12-2 over Twinsburg in the Feb. 15 first round Division I District tournament.

After a strong start, the Twinsburg boys basketball squad saw a hot shooting touch turn ice cold in a league loss on the road at Wadsworth. Twinsburg fell 57-51 to Wadsworth Feb. 10 to drop to 3-15 overall and to 2-9 in the deep Suburban League National Conference.

Twinsburg wrestling closed out its regular season on a high note Feb. 9 by drilling a pair of Division II opponents. Twinsburg defeated Chagrin Falls 66-15 and downed University School 58-18. The Tigers finished the regular season with a record of 8-4 overall.
