Humane Society gets new vehicle, adoptions go mobile

TWINSBURG -- Potential adopters will soon have a new option to adopt an animal instead of visiting the Twinsburg shelter. The Humane Society of Summit County took ownership March 21 of a donated vehicle to serve as a mobile adoption center.

Twenty students participated in Page to Stage, which culminated May 6 as they produced and performed one-act plays that evening. The participating students had written their plays Friday evening and rehearsed Saturday. Four original productions were created within 24 hours.

Hydrant flushing in Twinsburg starts May 1

TWINSBURG -- The Twinsburg Fire Department will begin hydrant flushing May 1 throughout the community, and the work should be completed by June 30. The flushing is necessary to maintain the nearly 1,900 fire hydrants located throughout the city and Twinsburg Township, according to the TFD.
