Cuyahoga Falls -- The family and friends of a 17-year-old girl who died from an overdose last fall are launching an effort to spread the word about the dangers of drug use. Rachel Anne DeMaio died Oct. 28, 2016 after, her family said, she used a drug containing Carfentanil.

Bicentennial books now available

TWINSBURG -- Bicentennial Books, available for Twinsburg, Twinsburg Township and Reminderville residents, are now available. Mayor Ted Yates said copies of the book, "Three Communities, One Heritage," came in March 14, despite some curveballs thrown by the recent inclement weather.

Civil rights case filed against city, police officers

TWINSBURG -- A Twinsburg woman has filed a civil rights complaint seeking $1 million against two Twinsburg police officers and the city of Twinsburg in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio, stemming from a domestic situation in November.
