School renewal levy won't appear on fall ballot

TWINSBURG -- The Board of Education will regroup for further discussion on when to offer a 6.9-mill renewal levy to voters, after a resolution to place the measure on the November ballot failed to get a two-thirds majority vote at a July 20 meeting.

TWINSBURG--The Twinsburg Board of Education has taken the first step toward placing a 6.9-mill renewal levy on a future ballot, passing a resolution 4-0 July 12 that will ask the Summit County Fiscal Office to certify the tax valuations of the district.
