PENINSULA -- All aboard!
Thomas the Tank Engine invites the tiniest of engineers to join for a day of friendship and family fun at "Day Out with Thomas: The Friendship Tour 2017," May 26, 27 and 28. Children can spend a day with their friend Thomas when the No. 1 Engine pulls into Peninsula on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. The afternoons are presented by Mattel and there will be themed activities for children and families.
Rides are 30-minutes and include meetings with Sir Topham Hatt, controller of the railway. Attendees can participate in events that encourage and celebrate friendship including photo opportunities, outdoor activities and collecting passport stamps throughout the day.
Thomas the Tank Engine rides depart ever hour, rain or shine. Departure times begin at 9:30 a.m. and go through 4:30 p.m. each day. Tickets range from $18 to $22 plus tax for ages two years and older, depending on the day.
