Margaret R. Everhart, 90, died December 24, 2016 at her home in Hudson, Ohio. She was born July 5, 1926, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Eckenrode) Wilhelm.
Mrs. Everhart graduated from Nursing School in York, Pennsylvania, and was a volunteer for the Red Cross during blood banks. In addition, she occasionally worked at the office of Dr. Todd Rich in Solon, Ohio. She loved serving her church, sewing, baking, playing cards, and outings to the area casinos.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Everhart, she is survived by her five daughters, Cynthia (Robert) Gehlke of Goshen, Indiana, Robin (Eric) Van Lew of Punaluu, Hawaii, Mary Louise (Gary) McElfresh of Mercer, Pennsylvania, Martha Everhart of Richfield, Ohio, and Joyce (Alvin) David of Twinsburg, Ohio; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and one brother, John Wilhelm of Gas City, Indiana.
A memorial service is planned for Friday, December 30, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Advent Lutheran Church (5525 Harper Road, Solon, Ohio 44139), with Pastor Jim Lewis officiating. Friends may call at the church from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contribution be made to the church.
