Twinsburg resident celebrates 90 years

Steve Frejofsky, Jr., of Twinsburg, will celebrate his 90th birthday May 19 with family and friends, and, of course, his wife of 61 years, Mary (Festa) Frejofsky.

Frejofsky, son of Steve Sr. and Margaret Frejofsky, was born May 19, 1926, in Cleveland. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and later worked as a pressman beginning in 1968 for the Akron Beacon Journal. He retired from the newspaper in 1988.

Mary and Steve were married Nov. 13, 1954. The couple has four children (spouses); 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. They have lived in Twinsburg for 59 years.

Steve enjoys word puzzles and is involved with Ss. Cosmas and Damian Catholic Church in Twinsburg. He is known to friends and family as a "Mr. Fix-it."
