Great Lakes Science Center marks passing of astronaut, Sen. John Glenn with memorial exhibit

The staff and volunteers at Great Lakes Science Center has partnered with the NASA Glenn Research Center to establish a temporary memorial for Sen. John Glenn, who died Dec. 8.

 

Members of the public wishing to leave expressions of sympathy may do so beginning Dec. 9. The memorial exhibit will be in place through Dec. 18. The Science Center will be closed Dec. 11 and 12.

 

The Glenn memorial will be placed in the Wintergarden atrium of the Science Center, which is a publicly accessible space that does not require admission.
