Curtis graduates cum laude

Taylor Curtis of Twinsburg will graduate with honors following the spring semester from Carlow University, graduating cum laude. She is a 2012 graduate of Twinsburg High School.

Local students honored at Wooster

Alina Karapandzich and Gina Williamson, graduates of Twinsburg High School, were recently honored at The College of Wooster's 47th annual recognition banquet. Karapandzich, a junior archaeology and classical studies double major from Twinsburg, earned the Edward Taylor Prize, awarded to a student who has attained the highest academic standing their freshman and sophomore years. Williamson, a senior psychology and Spanish double major also from Twinsburg, was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and most prestigious undergraduate honors organization in the country.

SCHOLAR Day at Mount Union

The following students presented scholarly research during the University of Mount Union's 10th-annual Student Celebration Honoring Our Latest Academic Research (SCHOLAR) Day April 25 on Mount Union's campus. Brianna Whittaker,

a national security and foreign intelligence analysis major of Twinsburg, will present research findings, as will Greg Best, a psychology major of Twinsburg.
