On Campus: Students named to academic lists

YSU names students to academic lists

Youngstown State University's most outstanding students have been named to the YSU President's and dean's lists. Students named to the list from Twinsburg from the fall 2016 semester include Prabhsimran Batra, a combined science major; and Ramandeep Gill, a biology and pre-med major. To qualify, students must have earned a 4.0 grade point average for the semester. YSU also named Kaitlin Hersch, a social studies education major to the dean's list.

Miami student studies abroad

Miami University students, including Kadeem Yorke of Twinsburg who studied in Senegal, spent the fall 2016 semester in a study abroad group. With 49 percent of Miami undergraduate students studying abroad for credit by the time they graduate, Miami is ranked first among public doctoral institutions nationwide for students studying abroad. Including students on internships, non-credit and service-learning programs, international students who study in a third country, and all other overseas programs completed by graduate and undergraduate students, 57 percent of Miami students study abroad. In addition to Miami's Luxembourg campus, Miami students can study abroad in over 90 locations around the world.

Dayton student on dean's list

The University of Dayton has announced the students who have achieved the dean's list for the 2016 fall semester. Students from Twinsburg included Kyle Hrabak, Joseph Stagliano and Kristen Hisek.

Miami Universitystudents achieve academic lists

Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for first semester 2016-17 have been named to the president's list recognizing academic excellence. They included Emily Yates of Twinsburg. Students from Miami were also named to the dean's list for the fall semester. Twinsburg students included Bryan Roberson, Julia Burkholder, Karanvir Grewal and Kathryn Butterfield.

Ashland University names students to dean's list

Ashland University recognizes students who achieved the dean's list for the 2016 fall semester. Students from Twinsburg included Nicholas Bartulovic, Delaney Jones, Eric Linderman and Caroline Toth. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be enrolled full time and achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Mount Union announces fall semester dean's list

Students from the University of Mount Union have been named to the dean's list for the fall semester of 2016. To be named to the list a student must achieve at least a 3.55 GPA while taking no less than 12 credit hours. Twinsburg students named to the list include Maria DeFranco, Brenna Kelly (Reminderville), Eric O'Connor, Jaime Sanborn and Brianna Whittaker.

Baldwin Wallace students make academic list

Baldwin Wallace University in Berea has named Megan Burgess and Christopher Guest of Twinsburg to the dean's list. To be named to the list a student must achieve at least a 3.6 GPA and carry at least seven graded credit hours.

Schilling makes dean's list

Hiram College has named Melissa Schilling to the dean's list for the fall 2016 semester. To be named to the list, a student must achieve at least a 3.6 GPA and carry 12 or more graded credit hours.
