Rotary Club of Twinsburg adds 'tremendous asset'

Lifelong resident Shannon Collins inducted Feb. 14

TWINSBURG -- Shannon Collins, a lifelong Twinsburg resident and the city's Clerk of Council, was inducted into the Rotary Club of Twinsburg Feb. 14.

Collins was sponsored by Rotary President-elect Kathy Turle-Waldron and inducted by current Rotary President Phillip Weiss.

Collins is currently the city of Twinsburg's Clerk Of Council, former chairperson for the Twinsburg Cost of Freedom Traveling Wall exhibit and a Twinsburg Athletic Boosters chairperson.

She is a graduate of R.B. Chamberlin High School and lives in Twinsburg with her husband James, and three children, Joey, Justine and Josh.

She was invited to become a member of Rotary Club of twinsburg because of her notable character, excellent leadership and demonstration of Rotary's motto "service above self."

The Twinsburg Rotary is working on several exciting community projects to launch this summer. Collins will be a tremendous asset to the organization and a great contributor to the completion of these projects.
