Youth Services: Wonder Party is March 3

Who hasn't read and loved the book, "Wonder?" Celebrate with other fans at this after-hours "Wonder Party," March 3 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Twinsburg Public Library. Make some mindful decorations and create "kindness banners" for the library. This is for students in grades 4 and higher.

Practice for the ACT

This free test will help prepare students for the actual exam. The practice test is set for March 4 from 12:30 to 5 p.m. This is for grades 9 through 12. Register at www.princetonreview.com or call 800-273-8439 ext. 5753. You will need to create a free account with Princeton Review.

Community service Fridays

Earn community service hours and have fun, too, while attending this drop-in session, March 10 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Make dog and cat toys for the Humane Society of Summit County. No registration is required. Make five or more toys per session to earn hours. Be sure to bring the school's community service form.

Adult Services: Real Estate for seniors

Attend "Real Estate for Seniors: Moving vs. Aging in Place," March 4 from 10 to 11 a.m.; and March 7 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the library. Have you thought about how your health, finances or the set-up of your home may determine whether you should stay where you are or move? This program will look at these variables and get people thinking about aging in place vs. moving to a more suitable home. The program is the same on both dates and presented by KW Chervenic Realtor Casey Rumora.

Real Estate 101: Lending options and documents

Learn about conventional, FHA, VA and 203K loans March 4 from 11 a.m. to noon; and March 7 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. There will also be information about grants and discounts and how selling a home first factors in.Then, look at the common documents used in real estate and what they mean. The program is the same on both dates and presented by KW Chervenic Realtor Casey Rumora.

PC hardware maintenance is March 7

Attend this hands-on class to rid a computer of dust, clean computer mice, de-crumb keyboards and more, March 7 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Security 101: Threats are out there

Learn about the different types of threats (viruses/malware, phishing, popups, hot spot spoofing, bad links and poser sites) facing people in the information age, at this March 8, 6:30 to 8 p.m. program.

Dreaming of traveling but aren't sure you can afford it? Learn the latest resources to help you plan and safely take that dream vacation on a budget. This first program, March 9 from 6 to 7 p.m., will cover flights, lodging and transportation options.
