Passion through music atChrist the King

The public is invited to a special musical presentation of "The Tomb Is Empty Now: Proclaim the Joy of Easter's Song," written by Joel Lindsey and Cliff Duren, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 10285 Ravenna Road in Twinsburg. This musical work portrays the Passion of the Christ through a stunning array of celebratory and thought-provoking songs, songs of deeply-felt pain and sorrow, and songs of great rejoicing. A choir of more than 20 singers under the direction of music director Kevin Basom will present a cantata at three worship services: April 22 at 5:30 p.m.; April 23 at 11 a.m.; and April 30 at 8:30 a.m.

All three services include Holy Communion and there is a staffed nursery for pre-kindergarteners during Sunday worship services. Christ the King is located across Ravenna Road from R.B. Chamberlin School and in front of Dodge Intermediate School. The Rev. Matthew Groenke is pastor. For information call 330-425-7377 or visit www.ctktwinsburg.com.
