Free community Turkey Day dinner
The Friends of the Twinsburg Community announce a free community Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. The dinner will be at the Twinsburg Community Center, 10075 Ravenna Road (behind R.B. Join for annual 'SOUP-er Market'
The Women's Fellowship of the First Congregational Church of Twinsburg will conduct its annual SOUP-er Market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 12 at 9050 Church Street in downtown Twinsburg. The fellowship expects to offer more than 20 varieties of homemade soups as well as grilled cheese, turkey and ham sandwiches and homemade pumpkin pie for dessert. Guests can visit the bake shop, needlework tables and purchase tickets for a Chinese raffle of holiday items and local gift certificates. After months of a divisive and emotional presidential campaign, the time has come to focus on healing and unity. Christ Church Episcopal (21 Aurora Street, on the green in Hudson) will host a service of healing and unity Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. All are welcome. Members of the Western Reserve Academy will sing and local clergy will participate in the 30-minute service. There will be readings, prayer and song.
